5. Who Knew

This banger showcases her at a county fair in the music video. Pink’s voice has sorrow and pain in the song. The song arrived in 2006, also known as the year Saddam was hanged. Glenn Rowley from Billboard dubs Who Knew as Pink’s best song!

4. Just Give Me a Reason

“Just Give Me a Reason” has the tune of a hopeless romantic. Yet, it finds time to be more upbeat than “Who Knew”. The song was released in 2012, also known as the year that Earth was supposed to come to an end.

3. Try

This song grabs the emotion better than every other song. It even sounds like Pink is in pain grasping for relief. The song from 2012 showcased Pink having an up-and-down relationship with an abusive male.

2. What About Us

Rage is nicely depicted in “What About Us”. Pink pleads for hope and logic in the song. There is also sincere intimacy in the song that came out in 2017!

  1. Walk Me Home

The sounds in “Walk Me Home” have a better tune than any other Pink video in my opinion. You can also feel the rage from Pink in this song. The song was introduced in 2019!

  • Birthplace

Pink was born in none other than Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Doylestown has a mere population of 8,250 people. Timothy Stack and Jody Lee Lipes are also from Doylestown.

“It takes a small town to keep you humble” – Bess Streeter Aldrich

  • Family

Pink had a somewhat chaotic upbringing. Her father, James, was an insurance salesman. His mother, Judith, was a nurse. At 10 years old, Pink’s parents got divorced. Of course, 41% of marriages end in divorce, according to “Wilkinson and Finkbeiner”. Pink has been blessed with a stable and loving home. Her husband, Carey Hart, is a once professional motorcycler. The pair enjoys two kids, Willow and Jameson, together.

  • Depression

It’s worth noting that Pink is human and she has had issues with her well-being. She has been vocal about having depression. Dan Reynolds, who is the lead singer of Imagine Dragons, also has suffered from depression. It should be noted that 3.8% of the US population suffers from depression. More than 1 in 5 people live with a mental illness.

“We are all role models to someone in this world, and we can all have an impact for good”. – Tony Dungy

  • Dear Mr. President

Pink hasn’t been shy with her view of humanitarian views. She wrote a song named “Dear Mr. President” in 2006 where she criticized former President George Bush for opposing gay marriage. Thankfully, society has evolved enough to allow people to love one another — regardless of their gender.

  • Influences

Pink, who gives her heart to every song, is surely motivated by the superior work that was laid out before her. Well, let it be known that she was inspired by Madonna and Janis Joplin. She joked that as a kid she thought she was Madonna’s daughter and that she thought she was adopted. Unfortunately, Jonis had a short journey in life – as she passed away in 1970 in Hollywood.

Outlook:

Pink is certainly not done singing. She sang at the Democratic National Convention in August of 2024. She has pondered the idea of having residency in Las Vegas, so she doesn’t have to travel.
