Please Play The Hunt For Ben Solo

Will The Hunt for Ben Solo be shown?

Ben Solo is undoubtedly one of the most intense, assertive characters in Star Wars. We all remember him sadly slaying Han Solo or opting to get into fights with Rey. Furthermore, he thought he took down Luke Skywalker. He also isn’t the first character to try and turn a young Jedi. The most critical part of Ben should be remembered him sacrificing himself for Rey at the end of “Rise of Skywalker”. With that said, there is a lot of disagreement if he should be seen alive or dead.

Well, the Disney CEO Bob Iger doesn’t appear to have the same energy for him being seen as alive as fans or other Star Wars heads. He doesn’t understand how he could still be alive after he sacrificed himself and faded away in “Rise of Skywalker”. This is their opinion, despite Lucasfilm loving the piece.

Steven Soderbergh created a film called, “The Hunt for Ben Solo”. It was written by Scott Z. Burns. Sadly, Iger pulled the plug on the project. Let it be known that it’s the first Lucasfilm project with a completed script to be rejected by Disney.

This made Star Wars fans furious once they heard the news. According to “Collider”, fans made a billboard in Times Square to plead their energy for the project to come back. Take a closer look at it below.

In my opinion, the only thing I don’t like about it, is that it’s not big enough.

Personally, I’d love to see the film on a billboard in Los Angeles. I saw a “Queen’s Gambit” on an LA billboard and it forced me to watch the show.

Let’s not forget that fans made a plane with a sign saying “Save the Hunt for Ben Solo”. Take a closer look at it below.

The past Star Wars projects (Rise of Skywalker) was an abomination and “The Last Jedi” was even far less liked than other Star Wars film in the 21st century. Although, we can agree Rogue One was well-rounded. This Star Wars film could help heal the wound left by the prior two films.

With “The Hunt for Ben Solo” potentially out of the picture, this will leave the following films expected to be shown in the future. “The Mandalorian and Grogu” in 2026, “Star Wars: Starfighter” in 2027.

The best Star Wars projects are somewhat unconventional. Adam Driver at the helm of a Star Wars film would be more unique than a J.J. Abrams piece. It’s safe to say he’s overstayed his welcome.

I would love to see George Lucas’s opinion on if this project should have the green light. It may be wise for him to get a sneak peek of the piece and speak with the main actors to see if they are bought in emotionally to the script.

Just as Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi returned for TV shows, I believe it would be wise for Rey to be involved and Adam Driver to be cherished in a show. This could help Star Wars fans decide if they are ready for a long motion picture of Driver.
