Romo splits ways with CBS right now

It’s official: Tony Romo has split ways with CBS as an analyst. He was a feel good story as a player. Clearly, he wasn’t underrated as an analyst. We all saw his get in trouble for drunk driving. Perhaps Romo has been hanging around Tiger Woods too much.
Romo was still better at driving than he was in the playoffs, where he went 2-4. If Romo had Cedee Lamb and George Pickens in the car, he maybe he would have been better in the playoffs and would have driven better.
It’s a shame that Romo’s old coach, Jason Garrett, can’t bail him out this time. We all know Garrett is an analyst for NBC Sports.
The list of former NFL players or coaches to become analysts in recent years is insane. We’re talking about J.J. Watt, Gronk, Russell Wilson, Mike Tomlin, Tim Tebow, and Bill Cowher. Let’s pretend Urban Meyer is off the list.
So, the question is: What will Romo do with his time now? I imagine that Romo could still get a job as a coach at a high school or even a college. It was may be wise for him to call Teddy Bridgewater, who was a coach a couple of years ago, and see if there’s a spot for one more.
If Romo was a tad crazy, he may be open to joining a team that needs a QB late in the season. We witnessed Phillip Rivers join the Colts a couple of years ago and then Drew Brees inquired about joining with the Denver Broncos last season. Romo is a year younger than Brees.
