Did Eli Manning miss the Hall of Fame?

Why did Eli Manning miss the Hall of Fame?

By: Jake Rajala

Eli Manning, also known as the second best Manning QB, didn’t enjoy the Hall of Fame news in 2026. He was left out of Canton for the second straight season. Perhaps he’s been hanging around his father too much.

Let it be known, he has won two Super Bowl rings. Sure, he had wide receivers that have caught footballs on their helmet or with one hand while being held. Nonetheless, he has been clutch and wise with the football. Yes, it takes a lot of talent to lead the league in interceptions three time! Philip Rivers has only led the league in interceptions twice!

With that said, it would be a shame to leave him out of football heaven. After all, he has as many Super Bowl rings as Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers combined. Fellow legendary Giants QB Phil Simms only has one Super Bowl win. Eli has the most passing yards and passing touchdowns among Giants QBs of all time.

I guess Eli shouldn’t feel too bad for not being cherished for winning multiple Super Bowl rings. Bill Belichick won six Lombardi trophies and he didn’t make it into Canton this year. Of course, there will be riots in Boston if Belichick doesn’t make it into Canton in his second season.

Perhaps Belichick was left out of the Hall of Fame for losing two Super Bowls to Eli.

Eli already has a spot in the Giants Ring of Honor. In the end, he will have a gold jacket, alongside Peyton. He will also see Lawrence Taylor and Bill Parcells in Canton, as well.

Bill Belichick is NOT a first ballot Hall of Famer

Bill Belichick doesn’t make it into Canton

It would seem life is good for Bill Belichick. He has six Super Bowl wins with the New England Patriots, he is a mega millionaire, and he has a super model wife. He even has a son (Stephen) that looks like he belongs in “Trailer Park Boys”.

So, it would seem like the red carpet would roll out for him into Canton in his first year of eligibility. Well, that wasn’t the case. He will NOT be a first ballot Hall of Famer. Yes, you read that correctly. Perhaps he would have made it if he cared more with his postgame interviews!

All jokes aside, the former Patriots coach that looks mysterious under the hoody, has the same amount of Super Bowl wins (as a head coach) as Bill Walsh and Joe Gibbs combined.

We need to stop acting like Belichick is Lance Armstrong. He didn’t cheat in “every” Super Bowl. After all, he was the man behind some pretty good football. His team came back from a 28-3 deficit against the Atlanta Falcons. Furthermore, his defense made an interception on the one yard line against the Seattle Seahawks.

Belichick may call his best friend, President Trump, to give him another letter of recommendation. After all, Trump recently endorsed Jon Harbaugh.

In the end, Belichick will make the Hall of Fame, and he will still remembered as the best head coach of all time. I wouldn’t be shocked if the 73 year old coach at North Carolina returns to the NFL and wins another Super Bowl.
