Breaking down hockey in VR

Hockey is beautiful and transparent, to say the least. Hockey is the third most popular sport in the world, according to World Atlas. If Antarctica had a sport, it’s safe to say hockey would fit best. The most popular hockey league is none other than the NHL. The long hockey season and intensely hot playoff battles aren’t the only thing that keeps hockey fans up at night. There are video games that showcase the passion for hockey. However, there is one gaming console that remains a bit more mysterious in its relation to hockey: virtual reality.
There are simply many hockey games for VR. The most prominent hockey games for VR are none other than Hockey VR, Goalie VR, VR Hockey League, and Hockey Shooter VR. Hockey VR showcases a player and a puck. There are realistic angles and opportunities for the player to score. Furthermore, there are a plethora of settings for the player to pick! Meta has given the game a 4/5 review. Goalie VR is also fascinating and waiting to be a Christmas gift. The game requires the goalie to have a bit of leg space to block shots. There can be five opposing players to battle the goalie. Meta Store handed the game an impressive 4.6/5 stars!
There is also a powerhouse hockey tool called NHL Sense Arena. The game showcases high-end graphics for a player and goalie, who have an opportunity to make magic happen. 5 NHL teams and 16 NCAA teams use the NHL Sense Arena. Not surprisingly, 98% of users with the app record an increase in hockey IQ. Jaromir Jagr is one of the trustworthy faces to have a positive review of the app.
Hockey is one of life’s categories that continue to improve – as VR tech progresses. VR will give the edge to any coach or player open to the unorthodox tech. It may even be a bloody race in sports to gain possession of the most updated form of VR, as well.
