Will the Steelers win the AFC North?

Who will win the AFC North?

It’s official: the four time MVP winner Aaron Rodgers has returned to the Pittsburgh Steelers on a one year deal. He must have been appealing given that “Big Ben” is a couple of years older. If the Steelers brought in a veteran QB that wasn’t Rodgers, their field may implode. Please watch “The Dark Knight Rises” if you don’t understand that pun.

This raises a pivotal question: are the Steelers AFC North favorites with this move? I really believe they are. 2020 was the last time that the Steelers won its division. This is also known as the time that President Joe Biden was president. Pittsburgh is a dominant blue state, so that prior statement may be music to liberals ears.

The Steelers play other “old” studs in the division. Derrick Henry is old for a running back (as he’s 32). Perhaps they can ride off into the nursing home in the near future.

It may not be sunshine and rainbows for the future of the Steelers DL. Cameron Heyward is 37 and T.J. Watt is 31 years old. Watt is coming off a season with 7 sacks, which was his second worse figure. T.J. may need to eat more at the holidays with his family (as J.J.) may hog all the food.

The Ravens have won the AFC North twice and the Bengals have won it twice since 2020. They simply have Top-5 QBs. The issue is that they need to stay healthy.
