Will Cam Ward blossom?

Will Cam Ward shine in year two?

Cam Ward was selected by the Tennessee Titans first overall in 2025. There has been a revolving door of quarterbacks taken early by the Titans. Vince Young was taken third overall, Marcus Mariota was taken second overall, and Jake Locker was taken eighth overall by the Titans. Clearly, the Titans QB position has been cursed after Young was put on Madden.

The Titans finally started to build around their QB (Ward). They brought in Carnell Tate fourth overall. Let it be even known that Tate was picked higher than Julio Jones in his draft (as he was selected sixth overall. He comes from a college that produced Michael Thomas. All Tate needs to stand out is to play with a Hall of Fame QB (also known as Drew Brees). All jokes aside, Carnell should be quite polished.

Ward didn’t play like Warren Moon last season. He led his squad to a 4-13 record. Sure, Joe Flacco and Jacoby Brissett were less successful. Nonetheless, Ward has more tools than most QBs and it’s expected that he wins more than a few games.

The Titans also brought in Wan’Dale Robinson and Calvin Ridley. Robinson recorded 1k yards last season and nobody noticed. He was less popular than the Giants third string QB Russell Wilson. Ridley is 31 years old, so he should have a couple of seasons left in him. They just have to make sure that Ridley stays away from the casino.
