Packers-Falcons reflection

The Atlanta Falcons travelled to take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. To sum it, the Falcons team-rolled the Packers. The most crazy part of the game came when Jordan Love threw a pass sideways to his own offensive lineman. It was a terrible version of the Music City Miracle.
There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator, Anthony Weaver, calling Tyler Shough a poor man’s version of Josh Allen. It was deemed wrong. Well, I believe it’s fair to say Jordan Love is a poor man’s version of Josh Allen.
Micah Parsons isn’t Reggie White, but he is an elite pass rusher. They need him back if they want to avoid getting blown out by middle of the pack teams.
We witnessed Drew Brees reach out to the Denver Broncos about playing for them late in the playoffs last season. He may not be able to throw a ball past 20 yards, but he will surely not have a completion percentage of 50% or lower. It’s hard to tell if the Packers QB is Love or Jameis Winston.
The Packers need a true replacement for Jacobs. After all, we’ve seen analysts like Dan Patrick predict that Jacobs never plays again. Perhaps the Packers can call an old friend in Eddie Lacy. Well, he was the Jamarcus Russell of the running back spot, so perhaps not. Lacy may have had too much of the green bay diet: beer and cheese.
The Pack didn’t have an answer for Drake London. He had 194 yards against them. It brought back memories of the Lions great Calvin Johnson torching the Packers secondary.
I can’t imagine that the Packers move on from Matt LaFleur right now, but I could see it happening if they lose five plus more games. They may be more patient with Jordan Love, however. It doesn’t help that they let Malik Willis leave.
