Is Halo in VR?

Is Halo really in VR?

By: Jake Rajala

It would be blasphemous to say Halo didn’t have one of the best theme songs and all-around vibe in entertainment. The franchise that hit the original Xbox with a bang is quite rejuvenating and refreshing. Hence, it’s worth repeating the joy from the theme song once again.

Halo is on PlayStation and Xbox as Halo Infinite is recently crushing it for those consoles. Yet, it’s less but it’s less certain to a plethora of gamers if Halo (and it’s majestic theme song) is on Virtual Reality!

The answer to the question above has mixed results. It’s technically possible to play Halo on VR, but it’s certainly not made for the masses! Kyle Melnick of VR Scout noted that a reddit user named u/Dyortos flexed footage of himself driving a Warthog vehicle across Zeta Halo.

If you want to witness that I’m not on a pipe dream, use the link below to view the video!

It would be hard to depend on the noob gamer above for Halo to be spread out among the gaming world. We desperately need and deserve Halo to reach the virtual reality circle! The fresh feelings from the birth of Halo Combat: Evolved would return with the first Halo in the VR sphere, to say the least. I believe the worst outcome is that Halo we all love reaches VR with real-life graphics, superior maps, and unearthly guns, in the not-so-distant future.

Halo is really similar to Guardians Frontline – which may deserve deep research to connect the dots between the two. Guardians allows users to be a soldier or a commander. It has future weaponry and adventurous battle fields. You can also fight solo or with another partner. In conclusion, the soldiers look pretty darn similar to Halo warriors!

Steam gives Frontline a 9/10 rating and the reviews on Reddit are mostly very positive.

The VR game Seeking Dawn from 2018 has also drawn comparisons to Halo. It features a space marine on a distant, colorful planet. It’s a sci-fi game that spews adventure and of course: first person shooting. The graphics are more impressive than Guardians Frontline. The weapons aren’t quite as fancy as that of Guardians Frontline. The story line is a tad bland in comparison to Frontline, as well.

Steam gives Seeking Dawn a score of 6/10 and Reddit is evenly split in the reviews.

Toy Story turns 30: reflecting on the movie

Toy Story turns 30 years old!

By: Jake Rajala

We all remember the first Pixar film, Toy Story. It showed the importance of having a childhood-like spirit, regardless of age. Andy is a typical young kid that loves to play with his toys. The main toy and character is named Woody and the voice of Woody is Tom Hanks. Buzz Lightyear is also in the piece and he’s played by Tim Allen.

Well, after Andy leaves, his toys come to life and hang out. They love to stay in Andy’s room. After all, the doorknob is high for them.

This transformation of ordinary things coming to life after people leave is a common thing. “The Secret Life of Pets” showcases animals that act somewhat more human after their owner leaves. Furthermore, “Night at the Museum” talks about historical figures that come out of their position and move around the museum at night. On a side note, it would be very cool if museums made this possible in the future.

As noted by ABC News, Disney and Pixar wanted to make one computer generated animation movie. This film is none other than Toy Story. It came out in 1995.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that it scored 100% on Rotten Tomatoes due to it’s visual effects, actors, and theme. The director Pete Docter knocked the film out of the ball park.

Pixar isn’t the only company to make animated films. DreamWorks Animation has spewed out many animated films, such as Kung Fu Panda and Shrek.

Pixar has really touched my heart over the past decade. I was in love with “Cars” and a child, partially due to them having a video game. My mother and I watched “Up’ recently, and that is quite surreal. WALL-E and Soul are also classics in my opinion.

Ever since “Toy Story”, there have been three other Toy Story movies. There will also be a sixth Toy Story movie. It was hard for my mom to watch Toy Story 4, where Andy goes off to college, as my brother was 18 and a senior in high school at the time.

Trailer for “Hoppers” is here

Trailer for “Hoppers” is officially here

By: Jake Rajala

Hoppers appears to be a family, friendly film that has cheerful, philosophical themes. It follows Mabel (a nerd) able to transfer her mind into a robotic-like beaver. Why did they pick a beaver out of all creatures? I don’t know. Perhaps it is less likely to be hunted than the likes of a Deer or a bird.

It feels quite similar to Jake Sully in Avatar, as he switches into one of the blue people’s body. He is able to speak their language and learn their culture.

The movie is bound to hit theaters on March 6th of 2026.

I really hope this film can stand out in the Pixar world. We’ve seen too many flops as of late. Elio wasn’t glorious. Elemental was one of the worst Pixar movies in quite some time.

Let’s not forget the beautiful actors in this well-anticipated piece. Piper Curda (Mabel), Jon Hamm (Mayor Jerry), Meryl Streep, Dave Franco, and Kathy Najimy are the notable voices. Piper has also been in A.N.T. Farm.

Wel, it would blasphemous to forget the director for this stud Pixar movie. Daniel Chong is the director. “We Bare Bears: The Movie” is his piece of work.

We shouldn’t hide the rest of the Pixar films coming out in 2026. Toy Story 5 will be released, as well.

Take a closer look at the trailer below:

Clearly, the movie appears to create empathy for animals and how humans are hurting their land. Mabel chooses to fight for the animals, despite being born a human. This film doesn’t only have a powerful theme, characters, but it has impressive visual effects. That shouldn’t be a surprise, as it is a Pixar movie.

10 interesting facts about Leonard Nimoy

Latest facts about Leonard Nimoy

By: Jake Rajala

Leonard Nimoy isn’t only a legend in the science fiction world, but he’s one of the best actors of all time. Nimoy dominated the TV screen with William Shatner in Star Trek: The Original Series in the late 1960s. Despite Nimoy passing away in 2015, he’s already inspired countless souls to follow modern and future Star Trek material. With that enunciated, I’m going to untwine 10 interesting facts about Leonard Nimoy.

  • Army

Nimoy had the courage to join the army in his early twenties. Between 1953 and 1955, Nimoy was a staff sergeant for “Special Services” — which was an entertainment branch of the military. Other A-list celebrities who have served in the military are Elvis Presley, Bob Parker, and Chuck Norris.

  • Photography

A young Leonard had a passion for photography. In fact, he went to study photography at UCLA after the original Star Trek. Let’s be honest – we’re thankful he didn’t pursue photography long over his projects later in his career. Many gifted people usually stand out in a few different areas.

  • Vulcan salute

It would be blasphemous to not cover his infamous Vulcan salute! It’s vital to note that it’s true origins aren’t from a pipe dream, but rather religion. Per “Star Trek”, its origins come from the Torah. It proudly represents the Jewish Priestly Blessing of the descendants of Aaron. Aaron is the high priest & the sons of Aaron are Priests or Kohanim.

  • Modern Star Trek

Spock wasn’t only shown in the old-school Star Trek content (shows and movies), but he also had a role in “Star Trek (2009)” and “Star Trek Into Darkness”. It was quite surreal to see the young Spock (played by Zachary Quinto) acting alongside the old Spock. The question is: Is Nimoy better than Quinto?

  • Boston

“Shipping up to Boston”

Nimoy was born in none other than Boston, Massachusets. It’s clear that he has the scrappiness that comes from living in Boston. The population of Boston is roughly 654,000 people. MIT and Harvard are a part of Boston. Other notable people from Boston are none other than Mark Wahlberg, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Conan O’Brien.

  • Family

Nimoy married Sandra Zober in 1954 and they were together until 1987. After he got a divorce, he married Susan Bay in 1989 and they remained married until Leonard’s death. Nimoy has a son from Sandra named Adam and Adam is actually a movie director. Adam created the film “For the Love of Spock, and it has a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score! Leonard and Sandra also share a daughter named Julie.

  • Other screen gigs

Nimoy didn’t only shine in outer space, but he also dazzled the audience in an action-packed script called the 1966 show, Mission Impossible! He played “Paris” in the show. Furthermore, he also starred in a space show called “In Search of”. IMDb gave the show a whopping 8.5/10! 92% of Google users also admired the show.

  • Music

Music played an underrated role in his life. It may seem odd the somewhat non-emotion Spock reached impressive heights in the music sphere, but he certainly did. Nimoy’s voice appeared in a sampled form on a song by “Information Society” in the late 80s! Furthermore, his singing ability was portrayed in the alternate music video for the song “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars!

  • Awards

As previously stated, it doesn’t require Captain Obvious to state that Leonard Nimoy is one of the best actors of all time. In 1968, 1969, and 1970, Nimoy was nominated for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series. He was also nominated for the best supporting actor for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. He finally tasted glory and won the award for “The Life Career Award” in 1986! He also won “Best Cast” for Star Trek in 2009. His wise presence played a key role in representing the cast of Star Trek.

  • Death

In 2014, it was revealed that he suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He blamed a long period of smoking for the wretched disease. Very sadly, his millions of followers heard the news on Feb 25, 2015, that he fell into a coma. On the morning of Feb. 27, 2015, the man behind the mystical salute passed away. BB King, Sir Christopher Lee, and Amanda Peterson also died in 2015.

  • Honorable Mention: William Shatner

There are an infinite amount of warm feelings with the combination of Spock and Captain James T. Kirk. The two are like Batman and Robin. Well, it’s worth mentioning that Shatner (who went to space with Jeff Bezos) and Nimoy didn’t end on a high note. Per Screen Rant, Nimoy was accidentally featured in Shatner’s documentary — which stirred the feathers of Nimoy. It’s unclear why Nimoy felt strongly about being in the documentary. Perhaps Nimoy didn’t want to be publicly seen at that stage in his life. Thankfully, Leonard’s daughter reached out to Shatner and said Leonard really loved William.

Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple join “Swapped”

Swapped outlook

By: Jake Rajala

There is a bubbly and cheerful film called “Swapped”, which will be showcased on Netflix in 2026. Two creatures swap bodies and must decide how to go about life and resolve this chaos. This isn’t the first film where two figures switch bodies. We all remember “The Change-Up'”, which came out in 2011. Obviously, those were humans and not animals.

Let it be known that Michael B. Jordan will join the film as a voice for the woodland creature. It will be fascinating how the face behind “Creed” will star in a children’s movie. The other voice is Juno Temple, who starred in Ted Lasso, is the other main figure. Both stars are younger than 40 years old (as Jordan is 38 and Temple is 36).

The film will be directed by Nathan Greno. Nathan is a stand out when it comes to making movies for youngsters. He had the keys to “Bolt”, “Tangled”, and “Meet the Robinsons”. The producers are Dana Goldberg and Mary Ellen Bauder. Dana has done “Jack Reacher” and “The Family Plan”.

Netflix is home to plenty of animated films, such as “Shrek”, “Shark’s Tale”, and “The Wild Robot”. This movie has the potential to be the best animated film and a Top-10 film on Netflix when it comes out.

This film is bound to be a feel good film with superb visual effects. The creatures and theme of understanding another’s view point reminds me of many animated film, such as “Migration”.

Why it’s worth watching Surf’s Up

Surf’s Up reflection

By: Jake Rajala

Surf’s Up is one of the most underrated animated films of the 21st century. I will unfold why the film is special and rewatchable.

Shia is one of the coolest, laid back actors in the business. He plays the main character named Cody Maverick. Cody wants to leave the island and pursue his dream of surfing. His brother and mother aren’t fond of his dream. He looks up to “Big Z”, who was one of the best surfers when he was a child. This makes me remember how I deeply admire and look up to the mythical, deceased Steve Jobs.

The theme of this movie is “follow your dream” at all costs. Cody was left at his hometown, but he kept trying to get on the whale to go to the surfing tournament. He eventually got on the whale. It teaches people not only once to reach out to a boss for an opportunity, if they say no at first.

Cody also met Big Z. Clearly, Big Z was washed up and not ready to come out of retirement. This doesn’t mean that he can’t teach Cody how to be a championship surfer.

Between the vital scenes, there is some amusement with Chicken Joe. He is boiled alive from a clan of penguins, but he thinks it’s a hot tub. He’s from Wisconsin, which is near my hometown in Houghton, Michigan.

Being an underdog is also a vital piece of the film. Cody doesn’t have any experience in tournaments. Well, he is going up against Tank Evans, who probably lost count of all his trophies. It’s worth noting he is only 17 years old, too.

There is an underrated element of love in the film. Cody falls in love with Lani, who is a life guard. She is played by Zooey Deschchanel. Cody, Big Z, and her ride off into the sunset together.

The film received an overall positive impression. It garnered an 78% Rotten Tomatoes score, and 77% of Google users admired the piece. If the movie was longer with an extra dose of mentoring from Big Z with Cody, I believe it would be at least an 85% RT score.

10 interesting facts about Mark Ruffalo

Cool facts about Mark Ruffalo

By: Jake Rajala

The infinite Thanos and potent Thor might be the only thing that can prevent the Incredible Hulk from seeing everything as an absolute win. Hulk has been a staple piece in the Marvel universe since his debut in the Incredible Hulk (2008). He is a universal phenomenon and one of the most powerful Marvel characters. At the same time, Ruffalo has been intense and witty in the role of Bruce Banner/Hulk. With that said, I’m going to reminisce about the actor for protein 1000 and untwine 10 interesting facts about Ruffalo.

  • Environmental activist

Ruffalo has been a serious environmental activist and he even started his own non-profit organization called The Solutions Project. Mark Jacobson, who is the director of the energy system at Stanford University, designed a model for renewable energy (which was sized down from the US to his smaller targeted area/in the Catskills) for Ruffalo. It’s not a surprise that the angry Avenger has a strong passion for the environment – especially after his performance in “Dark Waters”.

  • Dark Waters

The high-character individual and Anne Hathaway were on another level in “Dark Waters” – which followed a human rights lawyer fighting against a corporation that is connected with a plethora of unexplained deaths. His passion is insanely attractive, to say the least. The movie directed by Todd Haynes ousted an 89% Rotten Tomatoes score and 88% of Google users liked the film.

  • Begin Again

Ruffalo branches out in the romance film “Begin Again”, as he plays a disgraced record executive that falls in love with the singer Gretta (who is played by Keira Knightley). The movie had an admirable 83% Rotten Tomatoes score & 85% of Google users enjoyed the movie. The film was directed by John Carney.

The hulk is from the Mid West, as he was born in Kenosha, WI. Orson Welles was also born in Kenosha. Kenosha has a population of roughly 100,000 people. Kenosha has also caught the attention of the Jacob Blake and the Kyle Rittenhouse shooting.

  • He is married to Sunrise Coigney

The Hulk is married to Sunrise Coigney, who is an actress that stars in In the Cut & Campfire Stories. They have been married since June 11th of 2000. She is from San Francisco, CA.

  • She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

There won’t be a TV series revolving around Hulk, but there will be a series that features the She-Hulk! She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will feature on Disney + on August 17th of 2022. Of course, the series is inspired by the Incredible Hulk.

  • Shutter Island

It’s clear that Shutter Island is one of Ruffalo’s biggest hidden gems – as he shines as Chuck Aule. Ruffalo is really branching out in this film, but he does a fantastic job in the film that depicts Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role. A whopping 92% of Google Users liked the film.

  • Now You See Me

Ruffalo really has some magic up his sleeve – which was portrayed well in “Now You See Me (2013)”. Jesse Eisenberg takes the cake as the lead character/most important magician, but Ruffalo is an entertaining FBI agent throughout the series.

  • Spotlight

Ruffalo is in another unique, social justice, film in Spotlight. He is a reporter covering the horror that’s put on by the priest toward the young boys. Spotlight is based on a true story, as well. The film ousted an extremely impressive 97% RT score, while 87% of Google users like the movie.

10 facts about Paul Bettany

Cool facts about Paul Bettany

The hipster from London, Paul Bettany, is an amazing actor, yet he’s an underrated face in Marvel. Bettany has starred as Vision and played the voice of Jarvis in Marvel. He has been impressive alongside Wanda Maximoff, who expressed her emotion for Vision in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. His spotlight really blossomed in WandaVision – which ousted a superb 91% Rotten Tomatoes Score and 93% of Google users liked the show. With that enunciated, I’m going to reflect and untwine 10 interesting facts on the unique actor in Bettany.

  • A Beautiful Mind

Bettany did a fantastic job of playing Charles in “A Beautiful Mind”. John Nash (played by Russell Crowe) is a math genius that suffered from Schizophrenia and the film depicted him having an imaginary friendship with Charles. The film is a hidden gem and a whopping 89% of Google Users liked the movie.

  • Priest

I really believe Priest is an addicting science fiction film. The movie follows the path of the Priest. He has a Jedi-like force ability and he also wears a smooth all-black robe. Karl Urban stars as the villain in the movie. The soundtrack in Priest is also quite appealing. If you love cyberpunk movies, please give Priest a chance.

  • A Knight’s Tale

Bettany really shows his eccentric side in A Knight’s Tale as Geoffrey Chaucer – a friend to William Thatcher (played by the mythical Heath Ledger). Chaucer doesn’t have any clothes on when he meets Thatcher – which is one of the many exotic scenes in the film and hilarious moments by the outgoing Chaucer. The film is easily one of Ledger’s best performances, as well.

  • His wife is Jennifer Connelly

The man behind Jarvis is married to Jennifer Connelly, who is a famous actress. Interestingly, she starred in A Beautiful Mind in the role of John Nash’s wife, Alisha. She also recently shined in Top Gun: Maverick. They have been married since 2003. They share a daughter and a son together.

  • He is an INTP personality type

Bettany has an authentic personality, to say the least. He is an INTP personality type – which consists of 3% of the population. INTP stands for introverted, intuitive, thinking, and perceiving. Other famous INTPs are Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, and Paul Allen. The INTP personality type has the highest percentage of gifted individuals.

  • Transcendence

Paul Bettany has had less than inspiring moments with Johnny Depp in recent memory, but I still believe both of the individuals are optimistic, kind, and wiser than their prior versions. Transcendence is a film featuring Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany, and Rebecca Hall. Depp is an AI scientist who projects himself into a computer and his close friend and researcher, Max Waters, is skeptical of the situation. The film is an exciting, futuristic piece of work from 2014.

  • Solo: A Star Wars Story

Let’s not forget that the majestic Bettany was a part of the Star Wars franchise. He was showcased in Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo) and Woody Harrelson (Tobias Beckett) were the lead characters in this non-traditional Star Wars movie, but Bettany was a force to be reckoned with in his role for Dryden Vos. The film didn’t garner sexy reviews (a 69% RT score), but it’s still entertaining and worth watching.

  • Bettany is an atheist

Bettany grew up Roman Catholic, but he became less romantic with any religion as he aged. In fact, he’s even identified as being an atheist. According to Vox, around 3% of people in the US are atheists. 7% of the world’s population identifies as atheists.

  • Legion

The creative Bettany is an intense archangel in the film, Legion, as he helps protect a pregnant lady, who he believes carries the “savior” of the planet. The movie also portrays Dennis Quaid and Kevin Durand. It’s not an overly complex movie, but it’s a fun horror movie from start to finish.

  • Wimbledon

The well-reputable Paul Bettany isn’t known for being a stud in romance films, but he did an admirable job of playing the tennis player Peter Colt. Colt meets Lizzie Bradbury (who is played by Kristen Dunst) and they both train and aspire to be top-tier tennis players while falling in love. Jon Favreau, who likes to follow Paul Bettany around, is also in the Tennis movie.

10 interesting facts about Anthony Hopkins

Cool facts about Anthony Hopkins

By: Jake Rajala

Anthony Hopkins is unequivocally one of the most underrated Marvel faces. Of course, Hopkins stars as Odin, the father of Thor and Loki. It’s lesser known if he carries a rich background behind the jumbo screen. Hence, I’m going to take a unique, yet much-needed angle by untwining 10 interesting facts about Anthony Hopkins.

  • Thor

To reiterate the pivotal presence of Hopkins in Marvel, Hopkins stars in many Marvel pieces. He’s showcased in Thor (2011), Thor: Dark World, and Thor: Ragnarok. According to “The Things”, Hopkins was paid 10 million for his role in Thor. He earned every penny as the wise ruler of Asgard.

  • Aspergers

Like myself and even my role models (such as Elon Musk and Nikola Tesla), Hopkins suffers from Aspergers syndrome. Hopkins has been open about the benefits of Aspergers syndrome in his acting. Per CDC, 1% of the world’s population suffers from Aspergers. Signs of ASD include obsessions, odd speech patterns, limited facial expressions, and often an unusual sensitivity to sensory stimuli.

  • Born in UK

On December 31st of 1937 in Margam, United Kingdom, Hopkins was officially born. Bernard Fox (starred as Dr. Bombay in Bewitched) and Ronald Lewis (starred in Jigsaw) are also from Margam. There are also an infinite amount of celebrities from the UK — such as Winston Churchill, JK Rowling, Alan Turing, and even William Shakespeare.

  • The Silence of the Lambs (academy award for best picture)

If asked to name the first film with Anthony Hopkins that comes to mind, it would be blasphemous to not name The Silence of the Lambs. The horror film follows Hopkins starring as Dr. Hannibal Lecter — who is a psychiatrist serving life behind bars for murder. Hannibal is being interviewed by Clarice Starling (played by Jodie Foster) for information on a different case. Hopkins won Academy Award for best actor in his work on The Silence of the Lambs. Furthermore, the film garnered a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score & 91% of Google users admired it.

  • The Father

Let’s not forget Hopkins winning his second Oscar at the age of 83 for his performance in “The Father”. He is portrayed as a man with dementia & he also refuses help from his family. The emotional film from 2021 also garnered a whopping 98% RT score!

  • ISFJ personality type

The mbti of Hopkins is rumored to be ISFJ, which stands for introverted, sensory, feeling, and judging. It’s the most common MBTI in the world. Other famous ISFJs include George H.W. Bush, Rosa Parks, and Ryan Reynolds.

  • The Two Popes

The most underrated film with Hopkins is “The Two Popes” in my humble opinion. The film revolves around Pope Benedict (played by Hopkins) & future Pope Francis (played by Jonathan Price) building a relationship for the sake of the Catholic church. The movie obtained a potent 90% RT score & 91% of Google users admired the piece.

  • Stella Arroyave

His wife is none other than Stella Arroyave. They have been married since 2003. She is 67 years old — which is 18 years younger than Hopkins. They don’t share any children, although she is the step mother to Hopkins’s only child. He was married to Petronella Baker and Jennifer Lynton before Stella.

  • The Remains of the Day

It would be a shame to forget about Hopkins’s performance in “The Remains of the Day”. The 1993 film follows Hopkins serving as an English butler to Lord Darlington (played by James Fox). The old-ish film registered a potent 96% RT score!

  • Howards End

I will finally point out the remaining elite movie of Hopkins, “Howards End”. Relationships between people with different values, yet increasing closeness is the plot of the complex theme. Can relationships between non-similar faces survive? The film came out a year before “The Remains of the Day”. The film notched a 94% RT score!

10 interesting facts about Tom Hiddleston

Cool facts about Tom Hiddleston

The emotional, yet assertive Tom Hiddleston has really dazzled movie audiences over the past decade. He has notably shined as Loki in Marvel entertainment and he even had a show (called Loki) revolve around him on Disney + in 2021. It should be said that Loki was his best piece of work by far and show the show garnered very favorable reviews — as Rotten Tomatoes gave the show a 92% score and 95% of Google users liked it.  With that said, I’m going to reflect and untwine 10 fascinating facts about the beloved actor Tom Hiddleston.

  1. He earned a degree in classics at the University of Cambridge

Hiddlestone was a sharp, dedicated student in his university days, as he studied classics at the University of Cambridge. After his Cambridge tenure, he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatics. He’s reflected on the rigorous 16-hour work slate that was often demanded at the Academy on many occasions. A fun fact about Hiddlestone is that he is able to speak Greek due to his studious nature as a young college student. The well-educated Marvel Villain is far from the only influential person to graduate from Cambridge – Isaac Newton, Alan Turing, and Sylvia Plath cherished degrees from the utterly prestigious university.

  1. Hiddleston was introduced to the Marvel Verse in Thor (which debuted in 2011)

As widely enunciated, the smooth-talking Hiddlestone caught his big break with Marvel in the movie “Thor” – which took place in 2011. Of course, Hiddleston played “Loki”, who was Thor’s evil and adopted brother, and the scoundrel plans to overtake Asgard (home to Thor and Loki). Meanwhile, Thor is stuck on Earth and he finds a role as a guardian of Earth. The movie Thor didn’t actually blow audiences away – as it obtained a 77% Rotten Tomatoes score (and 84% of Google users admired the film), but it was clear that Hiddleston showed a plethora of potential in the shoes of the mighty Loki.

  1. Hiddleston won the MTV Movie Award for Best Villain

Hiddleston really gained steam in the entertainment world in 2013 – as he won MTV Movie Award for Best Villain. His role in the Avengers was utterly impressive and it was well deserved for him to win the MTV award. It would be an understatement to say his surprising range of emotion mixed with wit is on another level. Kathryn Hahn (Agatha Harkness), Josh Brolin (Thanos), and Michael B. Jordan (N’Jadaka) are also recent Marvel villains to win the bad guy award from MTV. The Avengers film also garnered very favorable reviews — as Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 91% score.

  1. He is an INFP personality type

Hiddleston has been rumored as quite the unique personality type: INFP. The INFP stands for introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving. It’s the ninth rarest MBTI and it’s one of the rarest MBTIs among males. Famous INFPs include Williams Shakesphere, Vincent Van Gogh, Johnny Depp, John Lennon, Bob Marley, and J.R.R. Tolkien.

  1. He dated Taylor Swift

Hiddleston was quite popular for his relationship with the mystical singer Taylor Swift. They dated for 15 months between 2015 and 2016 until Swift put an end to the relationship. It was reported that nobody cheated, but things just didn’t work between the two. Hiddleston is currently engaged to actress Zawe Ashton (who has been in Blitz and Wanderlust)  and Swift is engaged to Joe Alwyn.

  1. He shined in “Midnight in Paris”

Hiddleston isn’t only a super-villain, as he has also shined in Midnight in Paris. Owen Wilson (who is also in Loki), was the main character in the romantic film. Hiddleston plays F. Scott Fitzgerald in the inspiring film. The film garnered a very impressive 93% Rotten Tomatoes score.

  1. He is a UNICEF ambassador

Hiddleston has been a UNICEF ambassador raising awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Guinea and South Sudan. He traveled to Guinea in 2013 and South Sudan in 2016 & 2017.

  1. Hiddleston will return as Loki in Loki: season two

Loki: season two is currently filming and there isn’t a release date just yet. With that said, it is expected that Loki 2 will showcase a scene at McDonalds. It would be an understatement to say Marvel and Loki fans are excited for Loki 2 – as Loki was the most watched Marvel series on Disney +.

  1. He was born in London

Loki may have mixed emotions about Earth, but he was still born in one of the most interesting locations on the green planet: London. He isn’t the only mega-influential person who was born on Earth, as David Beckham, Alfred Hitchcock, Charlie Chaplin, and Dua Lipa also call London home.

  1.  Tom and Zawe Ashton are expecting their first kid

As previously mentioned, Tom is engaged to the fascinating Zawe Ashton. Well, it appears that their family is growing, as well. It was reported on July 1st of 2022 by Rappler that the pair is expecting their first kid.
