Is there a dynasty brewing in Seattle?

What is brewing in Seattle?!

By: Jake Rajala

“If you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree…”

We know what time it is. We all remember Sherm being more lit after the game 2014 NFC Championship. At least he used his words, unlike a celebrity that acted a tad different at the Oscars. The Seattle Seahawks took on an NFC West foe in the NFC Championship. Of course, it was the Seahawks vs the Rams.

The Hawks haven’t been this prolific since the Legion of Boom days. Times have really changed since then. Most of the key members of the LOB (Earl Thomas, Brandon Browner, and Richard Sherman) have been arrested. Sherm hasn’t let it define him, however. He give unique insight on the Thursday Night Football crew.

I trust Earl Thomas and Browner to be learning from their mistakes. Furthermore, Thomas was a semi-finalist for Pro Football Hall of Fame’s class in 2026. As for Browner, I expect him to land in the “Seahawks Hall of Fame”.

So, what’s the update with Wilson since then? Well, he’s been “Mr. Unlimited” (see below), which may be worse than getting arrested. All jokes aside, Wilson hasn’t quite found a home where he can be consistent and lethal on the field.

With that said, the Hawks won the NFC Championship and are going to the Super Bowl. They should send the New Orleans Saints a Valentines card for the Aints giving them Klint Kubiak (who is the Hawks offensive coordinator) and Rashid Shaheed, who is an All-Pro returner and deep threat at WR. It wouldn’t be the first time the Saints helped the Hawks in the playoffs. They decided to not tackle Marshawn Lynch in a run in the 2011 wildcard playoff battle, so he had a 67 yard TD run.

So, the 2026 Hawks are more well-rounded than they were in 2011 or 2014. Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are arguably the best QB-WR tandem in the league. Everybody knows and loves Kenneth Walker, as well. They proved to be wise for sending Pete Carroll and Geno Smith to Vegas.

Sean McVay turns 40 years old

Outlook of Sean McVay

By: Jake Rajala

Sean McVay is a certified genius. The man, myth, and legend turned 40 years old yesterday. He is only a few years older than his quarterback (Matthew Stafford)! Just as Bill Belichick can coach at an old age of 73, McVay can coach (and get a ride from mom) to practice at the ripe age of 40.

In all seriousness, he has orchestrated an offense that ranked first in PPG this season. That’s why everybody that’s coached or had a cup of coffee with him is getting a HC gig around the league.

McVay needs to have more unique style in my opinion. Josh McDaniel has a visor that he loves to wear. He even wears it instead of a winter hat when it’s snowing outside. As for McVay, he just spikes his hair and chooses not to shave.

There were rumors of McVay retiring after Aaron Donald retired. Donald, himself, hung up his cleats at 32 years old, which isn’t that old. Perhaps the 5’10 McVay tried to hide in his suitcase at LAX. Well, McVay hung around with Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua.

I would like to see McVay stick around the NFL for a while and aim to be the best HC of all time. Even if Stafford retires and the Rams don’t have an early 2026 draft pick, I’d imagine they could attract a new QB via a trade. Tua Tagovailoa, Malik Willis, or Spencer Rattler would be intriguing QB options moving forward. Hell, let’s not forget that McVay was an elite HS QB. Perhaps he could lace them up again!

It would be hard to feel bad for McVay if he doesn’t stack up Super Bowl wins. He is married to a Super Model by the name of Veronika Khomyn. He is also able to beat up his little brother (Kyle Shanahan) as he 4-1 against Kyle in his last five meetings. Obviously, he has a home theater, pool, and gym in his house, as well.

The revenge of Cam Skattebo

Cam Skattebo is back

By: Jake Rajala

We all thought thigh-man, Saquon Barkley was the baddest running back to play for the GMEN in recent memory. After all, he ran for 1,312 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in 2022. Well, a fella from Arizona State, came along by the name of Cam Skattebo. First off, being wild, is a requirement from AZ State prospects. Skattebo once headbutted a wall before game to get pumped up. Well, another AZ State prospect by the name of Robert Gronkowski, once REALLY loved to party to get jacked up.

Cam unleashed 410 yards and five touchdowns in eight games. I know, that sounds like production that former Giants RB Tiki Barber could have in half that amount of time. In Week 6, Cam recorded three rushing touchdowns and 98 rushing yards. He was just starting to heat up. Then in Week 8, he suffered a severe dislocated right ankle. Cam was on pace to be a true OROY candidate. He has a chance to win Comeback Player of the Year in my opinion. Of course, the former Giants QB, Daniel Jones, could win CPOTY next season, too.

PFF has dubbed the Giants OL as the ninth best OL in the league. No, I’m not talking about the Eagles OL. If they can stay healthy and give Cam the ball more in space, then he should really be able to slowly break down defenses and help the Giants win the time of possession. Andrew Thomas went from enemy of the state to one of the strengths upfront.

Despite the similarities, Cam isn’t like former Giants RB Peyton Hillis in my opinion. Of course, Hillis was a fluke and had one good season in Cleveland. He suffered the worst Madden curse ever. Hillis recorded 1,258 rushing yards in his last 39 games.

Will Aaron Rodgers return to Pittsburgh?

Will Rodgers return to Pittsburgh?

By: Jake Rajala

Aaron Rodgers may be 42 years old, but he still made the playoffs. The other grumpy old men (Joe Flacco and Philip Rivers) can’t say they went to the playoff gauntlet. He wasn’t as old as Tom Brady when he won his Super Bowl with the Bucs (as he was 43). However, the Ted movie already told us he was pure underneath the blanket.

A-Rod didn’t play like his once MVP self. After all, he looked like he needed a scooter outside the pocket. We also didn’t witness Rodgers throw a game winning hail mary.

With that said, the ultimate question is: Will Rodgers return to Pittsburgh?

With Mike McCarthy coming to the Steel City, I’d love to see Rodgers try and ride off into the sunset with him. Rodgers doesn’t get to have a Top-3 defense or Los Angeles Rams-like weapons. He needs to work with what he can get.

Rodgers has all the time for burning man, hostel surfing, and meditating after his football career. I’d say that Rodgers has the perfect window to win a Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes can’t thrive in the AFC West, Josh Allen can’t thrive in the playoffs, and Lamar Jackson can’t even reach the playoffs.

Rodgers is a future Hall of Famer, make no mistake. He can retire now, play with Mike McCarthy, or potentially land with a different Super Bowl-caliber roster. He is still one of the best NFL QBs of the 21st century.

The roller coaster named Josh Allen

Reflecting on Josh Allen

By: Jake Rajala

Josh Allen went from an MVP to a breakfast for Bo Nix and Sean Payton. He could have been thinking about sleeping, just as he is in the Natrol commercial. On the flip side, Allen is 29 years old. Former Bills legendary quarterback, Jim Kelly, was 30 when he reached his first Super Bowl!

Allen doesn’t exactly know what it takes to reach a Super Bowl. The question is: would Allen know how to play in championship games if he didn’t play at Wyoming? We sure know that Jalen Hurts knew what it took to reach the Super Bowl by playing at a Championship at Alabama. Everybody knew he was Patrick Mahomes’s son. We didn’t know he would still be unable to reach new heights without the Chiefs in the playoff gauntlet.

Apparently, Allen is involved in the search for a new coach. He may be looking for a new coach that will actually add young, prolific wide receivers for him instead of him throwing passes to a washed up Brandin Cooks. I don’t blame Cooks for catching passes that are determined interceptions, nonetheless. However, he isn’t the same weapon that someone like former Bill Stefon Diggs is.

In all seriousness, the Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady should be promoted to HC in my opinion. He may be intrigued about coaching for a different Super Bowl contender, or he could be let go in the near future. We witnessed Klint Kubiak leave the Saints to join the Seahawks and Sam Darnold, which was deemed an average situation at best. They need to focus on keeping Brady. The NFL stands for “not for long” and that applies to coaches.

Is Rob Ryan still in the NFL?

Is Rob Ryan still in the league?

By: Jake Rajala

Everybody knows who Buddy Ryan is, as he was the architect behind the 1985 Bears defense. Buddy also loved smoking (which came from his pipe). Plus, if you won a Super Bowl in the 80s, then any type of pleasure is on the table.

Well, Buddy spit out a couple of sons (and twins) by the name of Rex and Rob. His status helped his sons get a foot in the door, just as how Mike Shanahan helped Kyle start, and how Gary Kubiak is helping Klay (49ers) and Klint (Seahawks) contribute in their early careers.

It’s impossible to miss the egos from Rex and Rob over recent years. The love to cause chaos on and off the field. They loved blitzing and hurting the opposing QBs. Well, there is video evidence of them fighting “off the field” in a dive bar. Buddy Ryan, who once got into a fight with Kevin Gilbride on the sidelines, knew his sons would follow in his footsteps.

Rex has taken his talents to a place where an analyst tries to have a really loud voice, rather than spew out facts and examples. Of course, the analyst I’m talking about is I’m talking is Stephen A (on ESPN).

Rex is 63 years old, so he still is young in football years. The analyst Al Michaels is 81 years old and the coach Bill Belichick is 73 years old. Hell, our President is 79 years old!

The real question is: Is Rob still coaching in the league?

Rob, who looks like he grew up in California in the 60s, is not currently in the NFL. Matter of fact, he is at USC, as their assistant head coach.

Rob had stints with a few NFL teams. His defense in Oakland, Cleveland, and Dallas weren’t overly lethal. However, he had one magical season in New Orleans, where his defense ranked fourth in PPG allowed and fourth in YPG allowed.

The coach that looks either looks majestic or greasy has football in his blood. I’m not saying he will coach as long as Tom Moore (who recently retired at 87), but I anticipate him moving around the CFB and NFL world for a few more years.

Horizon of Khufu brings a rich VR experience

Horizon of Khufu comes to Austin

By: Jake Rajala

Horizon of Kufu is an unmatched virtual reality experience. It will take you on a journey where you witness the largest pyramid in the world (which is called Khufu). It’s 479 feet high (45 stories high)! According to, “Culture Map Austin”, guests will fly over the plateau of Giza, look off the top of the pyramid in every direction, explore the corridors, burial chambers, check out the queen’s chamber and even travel on the Nile River, and check out the funeral of Khufu in the 25th century BCE”.

This impressive VR experience will take off by Zoocade, which is a holographic zoo.

Tourism could take a decline with the rise of VR, as people can still witness stunning visual effects and landmarks with a headset. At least it would save people a lot of money while being inspirational.

The pyramids still must be visited in person. Each bit of it is truly unique and grandiose in person. The pyramids are miraculous, too. How the bloody hell could people get the material for it and the strength to build it?

The whole experience is 36 dollars for adults and 32 dollars for children. It’s safe to say it would be cheaper than a 1k dollar plane ticket, 250 dollar hotel visit, and money for a tour guide.

The pyramids are the only remaining wonder of the ancient world! It was built as a tomb for Khufu. It’s safe to say that he was quite popular.

I would love to go visit the pyramid in person. They are currently more stunning in person than aVR. Furthermore, I’d have to spend money on a plane ticket to Austin, so I mine as well spend slightly more money on going to Egypt.

Denzel Washington loves “The Incredibles”

Incredibles reflection

By: Jake Rajala

The wise Denzel Washington is one of the most inspiring actors in Hollywood. He is also one of the few major Christians in entertainment. He has shown his faith in “The Equalizer” and “The Book of Eli”. Well, he has used his spotlight to point on other films that touched his heart, too. The badass oddly likes Pixar. It may seem like a strange combination.

Washington is married to Pauletta Washington. He went to Fordham University. He has a net worth of $300 million dollars.

According to the “Far Out”, Washington said, “When I was on vacation a few years back, and I sat, and I said I’m going to watch “The Incredibles”. Man, that is one of my favorite movies of all time now!”

The Incredibles is rated as one of the best Pixar films of all time. It has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 97%! That is the eighth highest RT score among Pixar movies. Of course, the film came out in 2004. The sequel to the main film is “The Incredibles 2” and it garnered an 93% RT score! Brad Bird knocked each film out of the park.

We need more adult faces in the movie industry to branch out and watch more cartoons. They can all bring joy, especially during the holidays. They are also filled with heartwarming visual effects.

Personally, my favorite Pixar films are Soul, Up, and Wall-E. These films ignite a warm spark in my heart. They have powerful storytelling, as well.

Are there any dinosaur VR games?

Latest dinosaur VR games

By: Jake Rajala

Humans have been around for 5-7 million years. Of course, we can thank Stanley Kubrick for showing human ancestors beyond millions of years. Humans have barely been on this green earth in comparison to the monster dinosaurs, who roamed this planet for 165 million years! There have been books to document the existence of Dinosaurs, such as “The Rise and Fall of Dinosaurs”. Let’s not forget that there have also been movies to feature dinosaurs, like “Jurassic Park” and “Night at the Museum”. With that enunciated, it’s somewhat cloudy if there are dinosaur games, particularly in VR.

The answer to my question above is absolutely! Steven Spielberg may not be the mind behind the VR dinosaur projects, but they stand out. There is “Jurassic World Aftermath”, which came out in 2020 and it features a user running for their life against velociraptors. A whopping 95% of Google users like the game! Furthermore, Meta Store handed the game a 4.4/5. There is also a non-commercial game where a player is running and being chased by a T-rex. Overall, It’s quite sexy to witness the two sides separated by millions of years trying to share the setting! On a side note — It may not be helpful to have Barbasol in the virtual experience.

Let’s not forget that there is a VR attraction of Jurassic Park in Miami Seaquarium, which is arguably the best VR experience of dinosaurs in the world. It’s also a whopping 60 minutes of an experience! It’s $79.99 to witness the Seaquarium and the dinosaur world together. It takes around 4 hours to visit the entire Seaquarium, so there is plenty of time to fit in blood-thirsty velociraptors!

There are a couple of other prominent VR games. Island 359 is also a survival game where the user is stuck on an island with dinosaurs looking to take his head off. The game garnered worse reviews than Jurassic World: Aftermath. If you don’t want judgment day to come, there is a peaceful VR dinosaur game called Nature Trek. The user can walk around, enjoy nature, and walk alongside triceratops, and not get torn apart by the teeth of a dinosaur. The hippie game brought forth a Steam rating of 9/10!

The dinosaur realm is the perfect blend of beauty and terror. With that said, people deserve to see and have a passion for life that didn’t exist at the same time as humans. Dinosaur films, despite failed attempts to live up to the original Jurrasic Park, can fuel inspiration for any viewer. Nonetheless, the VR experience provides a more intimate feeling with robust dinosaurs than ever shown before.

Is there karate in VR?

What to expect from Karate in VR

By: Jake Rajala

Karate is an exercise that allows an average Joe to knock down a Goliath-like opponent. Bruce Lee is one of the gods in the karate world. He nicely showed passion in a way that inspired millions to conquer anything in their life. Of course, there is also “Karate Kid”, Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio, and Pat Morita – which has surely made an infinite amount of wannabe Karate heroes. With that said, it’s indisputable that Karate has flourished in culture in the West.

However, it’s less certain if karate has hitched a ride with the future of entertainment: virtual reality. There is “Chaotic Dojo”, “Dragon Fist: VR Kung Fu”, and “Crazy Kung Fu”. The reviews for Chaotic Dojo are like a ghost town. Nonetheless, the Meta Store has pitched in their opinion on the intense game. They said there are different fighting styles and self-defense is also learned. The Meta store has given the game a modest score of 4/5 stars!

Dragon Fist: VR Kung Fu isn’t anything to disrespect, as well. The user gets to utilize karate and straight-up jabbing against many different types of foes in many unique arenas — contrary to other karate games. The reviews for the game are quite impressive — as the Meta store handed the game 4.7/5 stars and Steam gave the game 9/10 stars.

Crazy Kung Fu is also worth reflecting on. The user can jab and hit fake targets — which can transition nicely to real life. There can also be fake targets that aim to hit the player back! Similar to Dragon Fist, this game garnered a 9/10 Steam rating and a 4.7/5 Meta rating.

This area of games will certainly make the player sweat more than a game that allows the user to use a gun to take down their enemy. There is also lots of potential to incorporate karate with supernatural elements. Hopefully, the karate games for VR are just scratching the surface!
