Is it time to pull the plug on Bo Nix?

Should the Broncos pull the plug on Bo Nix?

By: Jake Rajala

The Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix isn’t in Kansas Oregon anymore. He has made the wiz Sean Payton look like a mediocre play-caller. We’re talking about a play-caller who led the game manager Teddy Bridgewater to a 5-0 record. I don’t even believe that Nix is a poor man’s version of Broncos legend, John Elway, right now.

Nix has thrown six touchdowns this season. That is the same amount of touchdowns as Jameis Winston. Yes, you read that correctly. If Nix listens to Winston’s pre-game speeches, then he may improve his game.

The former partner to Payton is none other than Drew Brees. He may be a quality replacement for Nix. Drew’s arm strength is the same as a QB at the Manning Academy. Yet, he could still be an upgrade over Nix. He can run Payton’s offense in his sleep.

The Broncos once won a Super Bowl with a washed up Peyton Manning. Manning was celebrated for handing the football off. In other words, there is hope for Nix to bring his team all way. After all, his defense is second in sacks and fifth in turnovers.

If Tim Tebow can be an average QB, then Nix most certainly can. We’re talking about Tebow, who is a poor man’s version of Taysom Hill.

PFF has graded Nix 32nd out of 34 QBs this season. That’s one spot ahead of Deshaun Watson, who has blown a bigger contract with the Browns than Brock Osweiler did with the Texans.
